National RNCM and the Wisconsin Center for Nursing National RNCM is proud to be the education provider for the Wisconsin Center for Nursing Wisconsin Nurses Respond Now Priority Training Project. This Priority Training focuses on preparing registered nurses to address the needs of Wisconsin's vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 pandemic. This priority training project provides relevant, high-quality education for nurses about the disparities, social determinants of health and equity concerns experienced by Wisconsin's most vulnerable populations. Selected to receive an Innovation Award by the Future of Nursing Campaign for Action and the Center for Championing Nursing in America, we are excited to contribute to this nursing workforce development initiative designed to address nursing's role in building health equity, well-being and promoting a Culture of Health, an initiative of the AARP Foundation, AARP, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
All courses are accredited by ANCC, the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and build on the Institute of Medicine Future of Nursing Report (2010), current evidence, and are consistent with the American Nurses Association (ANA) Social Policy Statement and Code of Ethics. National RNCM Celebrates the Year of the Nurse 2020 has been designated as the Year of the Nurse and Midwife by the World Health Assembly, the governing body of the World Health Organization. This initiative focuses on advancing nurses' vital role in transforming healthcare around the world and calls on nurses and healthcare organizations to showcase the important work that nurses do. The American Nurses Association also supports the Year of the Nurse in recognition of nurses practicing in a wide range of roles and specialties throughout the United States and supports the inclusivity and participation of all nurses. Here at National RNCM we are excited to be part of this yearlong focus and recognize the work of nurses who have prepared and are practicing in contemporary RN Case Manager, Care Manager and Care Coordination roles across the U. S. healthcare system.
