The joy of our digital curriculum is that the latest research and scientific findings are incorporated readily, so students are always presented with the most up-to-date medical knowledge. Hana Dzurikova EDU Curriculum Team "At EDU we work on a patient case every week as a team. " Vanida EDU Student "The EDU concept sets a milestone in medical education. At EDU, you study medicine in a modern environment! " Daniel A. EDU Student "I was attracted by the idea of learning digitally, and having the flexibility to study wherever I want — I could identify with the spirit of EDU. " Felix C. EDU Student "Our daughter is enthusiastic about studying with EDU. In my 24 years as a university lecturer in radiology, health economics and medical informatics, I have become acquainted with the strengths and weaknesses of classical medical education. I am convinced of your concept of combining a virtual medical school for theoretical instruction with intensive, structured clinical training. Furthermore, EDU's cooperation with Valletta (Malta), Maastricht (Netherlands) and the German clinics is a truly European project" Professor Dr. Hans-Martin Klein EDU Parent "The experience students receive through virtual classroom activities has a significant impact on emotionally enhanced memory retention and long-term knowledge retrieval as evidenced by neurocognitive studies. "
With theoretical studies in small groups of no more than 6, not only do our graduates learn how to solve medical problems, they learn how to conduct research and discuss topics in a collaborative, rewarding, team-based spirit. " Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Hoeft EDU Founder "The biggest impact of EDU Medical's teaching approach is that it allows access to medical education in under-resourced environments. This is extremely important because the areas where we need the most providers are these environments themselves. " Prof. Med. Bruce Biccard EDU Founding Faculty "Through working closely with mentors, students are able to develop their study skills, soft skills and academic skills, as well as improving their knowledge of important non-medical topics. Our sessions are interactive and task-based, with the students participating through role-plays, exercises, presentations, debates, games and group writing tasks. It is great to be able to work closely with small groups and to help students on an individual basis to develop and thrive at EDU. "

A DEGREE SMARTER Founded in June 2018, EDU is a private Institution of Higher Education with a vision to substantially increase the quality and accessibility of higher education. A new era of innovation in education is unfolding in front of our eyes. Technology is broadening the possibilities available to students and teachers alike, providing never-before-seen levels of convenience and efficiency. Traditional educational models are ceding way to flipped classrooms which highlight a democratic approach to learning, and actually doing, rather than simply memorizing for the sake of passing a test, is valued as a more efficient method of learning. However, millions of people in our global community are suffering from lack of access to quality education and basic healthcare, which is only forecast to worsen in the decades ahead. By harnessing the opportunities afforded to us in this digital age, and by implementing innovative and modern learning methods, we are making it possible for students anywhere in the world to access the transformative educations they need and deserve.
