Epinephrine and norepinephrine, the major effector amines of the sympathetic nervous system, are responsible for the "flight or fight" response (ie, chronotropic and inotropic effects on the heart; bronchodilation; peripheral and splanchnic vasoconstriction with skeletal muscular vasodilation; metabolic effects including glycogenolysis, lipolysis, and renin release). Most adrenal deficiency syndromes affect output of all adrenocortical hormones. Hypofunction may be primary (malfunction of the adrenal gland itself, as in Addison disease) or secondary (due to lack of adrenal stimulation by the pituitary or hypothalamus, although some experts refer to hypothalamic malfunction as tertiary). Adrenal hyperfunction causes distinct clinical syndromes depending on the hormone involved: Hypersecretion of epinephrine and norepinephrine results in symptoms of pheochromocytoma. These syndromes frequently have overlapping features. Hyperfunction may be compensatory, as in congenital adrenal hyperplasia, or due to acquired hyperplasia, adenomas, or adenocarcinomas.

Hi guys - sorry for the long post, but I'd really appreciate any advice. First off, I know that Covid.... well, exists... which absolutely does not help my job search right now. But, I am seriously struggling at finding any AV jobs that would hire me on that are at least 1 step up from entry level, and am wondering if anyone has any advice. I'll detail my experience and education below. So, I have a bachelor's in Music Technology, graduated in 2017. One of my resume jobs is the internship I did there where I was the studio manager of the recording studio - handled everything involved with the recording studio as well as assisted with recording/video/tech needs for live performances there. I was also the technical director of a community theatre (I have this listed as "tech director/sound operator" on my resume, so I show it going back 8 years - even though I was only tech director for 3 of those 🤷♂️). This involved lots of live AV work running and designing sound for musicals, running and designing projection, coordinating rentals, building and maintaining racks, etc.

What If You Have Employer-Based Health Insurance? If your company offers health insurance, it can postpone your coverage for anywhere up to a year after you begin work. On the other hand, coverage can start as soon as your first day on the job, depending on your employer's insurer. You can get employer-based insurance even if you apply outside of the annual health insurance open enrollment period because a new job is a "qualifying life event" that allows you to purchase major medical health insurance immediately. What If You Have Medicare? As long as you plan ahead, you can get Medicare and supplemental Medicare coverage that begins on the first day of the month that you turn 65 years old. There are a number of Medicare rules that determine whether you're automatically enrolled and when your coverage will begin. Go to the federal government's website for the details to get Medicare at 65,. What If You Have Medicaid? If your application for Medicaid is approved, then coverage will begin on either the day that you applied or the first day of the month that you applied.
